Glenn Beck is PRO-THEOCRACY

I liked the Revolutionaries segment of the Glenn Beck Show very much; I appreciated others where Mr. Beck explained progressivism and where he had Objectivists or Jeffersonians as guests. I thought he might have mixed premises when Rudy Giuliani got deferential treatment on his show - I emailed Mr. Beck on June 7, 2009:

"The 9/12 principles-values and Rudy Giuliani are incompatibles. I hope you read up on how he tyrannized Lisa Jones, Timothy Tabor, Richard Wigton, Robert Freeman, Kidder, Peabody & Co, Princeton/Newport Partners, and the creator of 62 million jobs: Mr. Mike Milken.

Giuliani is a thug."
When NY GOP candidate for the 23rd congressional district Dede Scozzafava dropped out and the RNC announced it is backing Conservative Party candidate Mr. Doug Hoffman, I realized that THEOCRACY masquerading as freedom is surging!!!!!

Ayn Rand said in 1976 (Ayn Rand Answers page 67): “Religious conservatives want to destroy the two-party system in America by destroying the Republican Party.” On page 64: “Buckley and the conservatives advocate an organized religion very interested in politics – that is, a THEOCRACY…”

I then viewed Mr. Beck's radio and TV interviews of Mr. Hoffman, described as an Independent candidate. Mr. Beck stressed, at least twice, that the Republican candidate is pro-choice.

Why didn’t Mr. Beck inform his audience that Mr. Hoffman is the Conservative Party’s candidate? The party which Ayn Rand described as “not an American political party, but a religious party – A PHENOMENON FORBIDDEN BY THE CONSTITUTION.” She further said: “the Conservative Party… subordinates reason to faith, and substitutes theocracy for capitalism…”

Mr. Beck repeatedly said that the Republican Party candidate is endorsed by ACORN. Ayn Rand would remind him that the Conservative Party is backed by these:
Pope Benedict XVI’s Caritas in Veritate (Charity in Truth - 2009) and Pope Paul’s Populorum Progressio (On the Development of Peoples - 1967) -
These encyclicals blame the PROFIT motive for all the world’s problems, and call for a worldwide REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH by a world government as the solution.

More from Ayn Rand: Pope Paul’s Populorum Progressio declares that capitalism is worse than Marxism and that the only morality is altruism (self-sacrifice).

Men of reason: theocracy disguised as freedom is surging. Rise to defend liberty!

Heed Dr. Leonard Peikoff: “If you hate the Left so much that you feel more comfortable with the Right, you are unwittingly helping to push the U.S. toward disaster, i.e., theocracy, not in 50 years, but, frighteningly, much sooner.”

Thought you might like some feedback, so here goes.
Glen Beck is the 'man of mixed premises' Ayn Rand described as the most dangerous people you could ever put in charge. Religion is always at the base and corrupts the higher thought level ideas.
That said, he has a very big microphone, an allegiance to the most important historical idea, The Declaration of Independence and he gives air time to the ARI.
That there is danger, I agree, but rather than fight both sides, is the wisest course of action the one you've taken, to correct Glen Beck at any opportunity? It is something each of us must answer for themselves.
I have a tremendous respect for Dr Peikoff but he is not Ayn Rand, who always maintain we must think for ourselves.
cheers and he's something I wrote about the Buckley bunch some tome ago. http://seine.thinkertothinker.com/2009/03/29/uss-objectivity-i/

Glen's religion has. NOTHING to do with his Libertarianism. The use of his personal faith to attack his belief in true freedom can only be interpreted as a liberal pretending to be libertarian grasping at straws to attack the most authentic Libertarian we've had in our ranks for some time.Ayn Rand would COMPLETELY support what Glenn is doing- do not be fooled folks- he is the real deal...I don't see him pushing the doctrine of Joseph Smith on the air...do you? I DO, however, see him pushing the ideals of the founders of the Republic....

I agree, Glen Beck is a libertarian. That is yet another black mark against him.

OK. let's have your honest appraisal of how the American electorate can stop the New World Order the Democrat Marxists and Republican neo-cons have been empowering. It is about to be propagated further at Copenhagen beginning December 7th. It may go done in future history as Pearl Harbor did.

This is going to be sheer communism in the guise of a United Nations. We need a third party to stop this tide. The Conservative Party wants a theocracy about as much as you do. The Pope supports it because we share many common beliefs, same with the Christian Coalition. That does not mean we share all of his beliefs. We want what the founding fathers wanted.

stuntman72 doesn't see Glenn Beck pushing his religion on the air. Beck is a Morman and pushes the writings of Cleon Skousen, another Mormon. Their cries of a constitutional crisis are directly descended from Joseph Smith's prophesies that there would be such a crisis and the Mormons would step in to bail the nation out (by imposing a theocracy). This is all in plain sight, no need for conspiracies to explain what Beck is up to. President Romney, anyone? Not me.

Glenn Beck is the modern-day W.F. Buckley.
