Goliaths: Afraid to Compete in the Reason-and-Persuasion-Only Zone

This is a video from the bipartisan healthcare summit on February 25, 2010.

Guarded by the Secret Service and backed by the most powerful police force on Earth, Government-Goliath bashes health insurance companies and touts that looters and moochers have the right to dictate to private insurance companies and the right to extort healthcare services.

Cowards! Shed your coercive power and compete in the free market using reason and persuasion. That you do not is crystal evidence that what you crave to impose on producers would be rejected by a free people.

Power-lusters! Loathe to admit that your whims would be defeated in a free market, you hide behind coercive power. Shed your goons! Compete in the reason-and-persuasion-only zone: the coercion-free market. No? Afraid to compete with honor?

When the government, mandated by the Declaration of Independence to protect equal inherent inalienable rights, is of thugs, by thugs, for thugs: the Secret Service and the police force become the protectors of Goliaths bashing citizens.

Instant Job Creation and the Road Back to the Declaration of Independence

The solution to the unemployment scourge is freedom. Unleash job creators by eliminating the ONLY two types of evil greed: greed for coercive power and greed for the unearned.

1) Spur job creation with no cost to taxpayers:
  • Eliminate evil laws: Antitrust, Insider Trading, etc.
  • Repeal Sarbanes-Oxley, mark-to-market, and other economic regulations
  • Remove regulatory bodies like the SEC
  • Get rid of the Federal Reserve and reinstate the Gold Standard
  • Abolish licensing fees
2) Subject all laws to the Declaration of Independence test: the only purpose of law and of government is “to secure these rights” –
  • Government is force. Since force against non-force is evil, government should respect the separation of state and (church, economics, science, education, art).
  • Thomas Jefferson said: “Reason and persuasion are the only practicable instruments.” To remove the use of force from citizen interactions so that individuals may deal with each other only by reason and persuasion, citizens delegate their right to self-defense to their government. Citizens cannot delegate a right they do not possess –
Hence, the government has no right to regulate inherent
inalienable Rights, including the rights of individuals
who hold that selfishness is a virtue.

Hence, the government has no right to coerce nor extort.
As it is a crime for an individual to rob or loot, it is a crime
for the government to expropriate the property of any of
                    its citizens.
  • The entity that has a monopoly on coercive power must not intervene in any other realm [e.g. moral & intellectual (e.g. production & trade)] because this defeats the purpose of the self-defense delegation:
-- It injects the use of force into interactions, and only
one party has the legal power of "Do what you're
ordered to do, or else": the government

-- The rights-protector must, at all times, be an impartial
referee; thus it cannot be a player and a referee at the
                       same time

3) Phase out the following, with specific dates:
  • Coerced welfare
  • Other government services outside of rights-protection – e.g. transportation, education
  • Taxes and all its other dishonest names: fees, plugging loopholes, revenue enhancement, etc.
  • IRS
4) Expose and fight violations to the Declaration of Independence. The American Revolutionaries earned the privilege of defining the fundamentals of the USA:
  • The individual's life belongs to him (equal inherent inalienable rights)
  • The government’s only function is to ensure every individual’s freedom: police force, courts of justice, military
Thomas Jefferson:

"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual."

“A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.”
5) Expose and fight dishonest politicians and members of the media.

The Nonobjective Segment of the Press

The owner of NBC, CNBC, and MSNBC sought and got $139 billion federal bailout.  Link: How a Loophole Benefits GE in Bank Rescue - Industrial Giant Becomes Top Recipient in Debt-Guarantee Program

Fox News employs Sarah Palin, a 2012 presidential wannabe, as a political pundit. Link:  Purveyor of Truth (Part 2) - Fox News Channel’s Credibility at Stake

Thomas Jefferson fought hard to include the Bill of Rights in the Constitution. He said, "Our liberty cannot be guarded but by the freedom of the press, nor that be limited without danger of losing it." We, the people, must be as vigilant as ever because a big segment of the press has been bought with taxpayers' money while another has employed many theocracy warriors.

Putting Soldiers in Harm’s Way with Hands Tied is Pure Evil

Associated Press reports, "Marines said their ability to fight back has been tightly constrained by strict new rules of engagement that make their job more difficult and dangerous." This Fox video says that rules of engagement are preventing soldiers from permanently removing insurgents from the battlefield.

Putting soldiers in harm’s way and then tying their hands is pure evil.

After 9-11, any terrorist country, any village that harbors terrorists, any civilian in a terrorist pen, is fair game. Soldiers put in harm’s way must be allowed to fight that they might live and swiftly win.

Theocracy Warriors Hurl, “Progressives! Socialists! Communists!”

Beware of “Progressives!” decriers who advocate two phenomena forbidden by the Constitution: theocracy and anarchism. In 2009, Glenn Beck sponsored a candidate of the Conservative Party, the party which Ayn Rand described as “not an American political party, but a religious party – A PHENOMENON FORBIDDEN BY THE CONSTITUTION.” (link1, link2)

This video shows Beck’s misinformation: Beck described Doug Hoffman as Independent at 4:27, and the latter labeled by the show as I at 4:43.

Beck is a self-described Libertarian. The founding principle of the Libertarian Party is anarchism.

This is an excerpt from a Ludwig Von Mises Institute article - "Many libertarians abandon minarchy in favor of anarchy when they realize that even a minarchist government is unlibertarian.”

Wikipedia states: Anarcho-capitalist Murray Rothbard has stated that "Capitalism is the fullest expression of anarchism, and anarchism is the fullest expression of capitalism." Anarcho-capitalism is an individualist anarchist political philosophy that advocates the elimination of the state...

This is from the Young Americans for Liberty's Mission Statement: "WE, as Young Americans for Liberty believe: THAT government is the negation of liberty..."

Hands off the Job Creators! Hands off Freedom!

I created a Facebook group and wrote the following under Info:

The Twin Towers were the Declaration of Independence in towering steel - a free mind and ego soaring to the skies - happiness rising in architectural symphony. One was the BIG BUSINESS tower. The other was the EGO-SELFISHNESS skyscraper.

The towers represented a mighty threat to sacrifice-glorifiers, mind-destroyers, and oppressors. Rejecting the hands-off, nonintervention, noninterference imperative in freedom, rights-infringers targeted the Twin Beau Ideals. Enemies of free enterprise destroyed the BIG BUSINESS tower, and haters of equal inherent inalienable rights struck down the EGO-SELFISHNESS skyscraper.

Many people revolted at the September 11, 2001 destruction miss the fact that the values and virtues that made the Twin Beau Ideals possible have been under vicious attack for over a century. Deluge of vilification and incomprehensible injustice have been heaped upon free enterprise, big business, brilliant innovation, spectacular success, and self-interested pursuits of profit and happiness.

Great pioneers are calumniated as robber barons. The reign of brilliant innovation is derided as the decade of greed. The best businessmen: terrorized or hauled to prison, the creator of 62 million jobs, Mike Milken, among them. Their greatest achievements looted or denounced as evil. The decade-of-greed reversal by the US Second District Court of Appeals could not bring back the businesses and jobs gestapoed out of existence. Nor erase the years of torture.

The spectacularly successful are rightless, says the Antitrust law. A pox on logic, it proclaims - free competition must be enforced! Away with definitions, lawmakers decree - jail or dragoon job creators with undefined, elastic laws like Insider Trading. Void the presumption of innocence doctrine, regulators dictate - "the White House and the US Congress must make businessmen and doctors honest."

The Founders said: Free men DO NOT NEED PERMISSION. Free men TRADE. Obama says: “We should no longer ALLOW banks to stray too far from their central mission of SERVING their customers."

After being coerced to accept TARP funds, after being allowed to pay back “a huge rip-off”, after paying mega millions to repurchase warrants on top of the 9% on federal borrowing several banks “didn't want in the first place", King Barack now calls for more extortion and strangulation while constantly vilifying banks. He whimsically singles out banks, thus, exempting Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG, GM, Chrysler, and GE, the owner of NBC, MSNBC, and CNBC.

The Declaration of Independence, the freedom of action in the pursuit of individual self-interests, has been outlawed. For more than a century now, businessmen have been slaves. Power-lusters, looters, and moochers have rendered them fair game to every vilification, extortion, and rights-infringement by dishonestly portraying them as callous evil crooks, as Goliath. Having a monopoly on coercive power, only the government can become a Goliath.

Government-Goliath terrorizes job creators. Corporate America is under a bipartisan dictatorship. The Republican and Democratic Parties champion extortion and coercion. Declaring war on productive citizens, both have arrogated the power to control and dispose of private property.

Goliath denies the Bill of Rights to big business. The tyrant puffs: the public will cheer when we torture unbridledly greedy slaves. President Obama told CEOs, “My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.”
To King Barack’s unbridled greed for coercive power:

Banks: Assert freedom! Fight the knave!
Else: Be crowned cowards - willing slaves.
What kinds of people stay silent, thus effectively sanctioning, this evil? “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent,” Thomas Jefferson said. That foothold has greatly advanced. The choice has become: intellectual revolution now so our children will live in freedom, or, Civil War 2 in their days.

The Declaration of Independence in towering steel, the Twin Beau Ideals, must rise again, together with the good they stand for: reason, liberty, coercion-free economics, science, technology, progress, innovation, pride, and joy!

Unbridled Greed Quiz

The American Revolutionaries were passionate about Liberty. Would you say they had unbridled greed for freedom?

Thomas Edison had 1,368 patents out of which 1,093 are US patents. Was he unbridledly greedy in inventing things which have raised the standard of living for everyone?

Michael Milken financed more than 3,200 companies and created 62 MILLION jobs. Would you stop this avarice? Would you throw him in jail for his spectacular greed?

There are only two types of evil greed: greed for coercive power and greed for the UNEARNED. Power-lusters and looters  use the term greed against producers to cover up their evil greed.
