To Ms. Barbara Bush: Not Yours to Give by Davy Crockett

In this video, Ms. Barbara Bush, daughter of President George W. Bush, agrees with Speaker Nancy Pelosi that healthcare is a right. Ms. Bush is glad Obamacare passed. The twin Bush sisters say they are not interested in politics. This explains Ms. Barbara Bush's understanding of Rights. Politics is not "a run for public office" - This is from my novel, Royal Serf:

Picture a five-storey building. The fourth floor is politics, where how man should treat other men is determined. Politics, the fourth branch of philosophy, defines the principles of a proper social system. The politics floor rests on the third floor, ethics or morality, the code of values to guide man’s choices and actions in determining the purpose and the course of his life. The third floor rests on the second floor, epistemology, which is also called the reason-and-logic floor. In turn, the reason-and-logic floor rests on the first floor and the building’s foundations: metaphysics - the study of existence, nature, metaphysical reality.

A political principle that does not rest on ethics is like the fourth floor of a building floating on air. Ethics or a morality code without an epistemological and metaphysical base is like a table with no legs. The proper code of values is established by means of reason in accordance with logic and in consonance with man’s nature.

Ms. Bush, Thomas Jefferson and his kind disagree with you and Speaker Pelosi:

"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." -- Thomas Jefferson

"A right is that which can be exercised without anyone's permission." -- Ayn Rand
Independent equals do not have slaves that would provide manmande values like healthcare. Capitalism, the separation of state and economics, is the only social system accordant with Rights. I hope Ms. Bush would ponder the Founding principles and this Davy Crockett video entitled, Not Yours to Give.

Science on Abortion

One’s personal stand on abortion, on faith, or on anything is no one’s business.

But collectivists reject the hands-off, nonintervention, noninterference imperative in freedom. Power-lusters find ways to obtrude upon others. Antiabortionists claim that the human zygote is alive, thus, abortion is murder. To be considered alive, an object must exhibit all of the characteristics of living things, namely (reference):

• Living things are made of cells.
• Living things obtain and use energy.
• Living things grow and develop.
• Living things reproduce.
Living things respond to their environment.
• Living things adapt to their environment.

To be able to respond to its environment, a human being must be sentient. A human zygote or embryo is not sentient because its brain is undeveloped. A person with no brain activity is considered by the medical profession to be no longer alive. It follows that since an embryo has no brain activity, it is not yet alive (reference).

A thing not alive has no rights. It cannot be murdered. To use the term murder to a thing not alive is to wipe out all definitions and all justice.

One who blanks out the life of the pregnant human being, one who champions destroying the life of an actual human being, most of the time: a young girl, one who advocates force – who advocates forcing a female human being to go through a lifetime paying for a mistake - is certainly not pro-life. He/She is no rights-respecter.

To spurn scientific evidence and hold that a female human being loses her rights to her own body and her own life when she gets pregnant - that she has no window to change course – is a mark of evil. The claim that a zygote or an embryo is a baby is akin to the claim that the sun revolves around the Earth.

By nature, man is fallible. For the pregnant, there is a window to change course. This is based on science, i.e. reason. It is consistent with the concept of a benevolent God. Abortion is safe during the embryonic stage, the pre-fetal stage, when brain activity is still nonexistent. It is no longer safe after the onset of brain activity.

Having a baby is a great responsibility. One can’t renege on it. Antiabortionists mention adoption as an alternative to abortion. A baby is an actual human being and giving one's baby up for adoption is 24/7 torture for life. It takes cruelty to impose a tortured life on a mother and the baby she would bear.

Pro-choice = Pro-science = Pro-reality = Pro-reason = Pro-liberty = Pro-happiness.

Anti-abortion = anti-science = anti-mind = anti-life = pro-Dark-Ages = TYRANNY = EVIL.
